Live Baccarat

Baccarat is one of the games you can play live at Casino Extra Casino. There are a couple of different versions of the game you can find here including:

  • Live Baccarat
  • Live Baccarat 2
  • Live Baccarat Squeeze Controlled
  • VIG Baccarat

Baccarat is a very simple game and you will learn how to play it in no time. Truth be told, betting is the only thing you can do when you play. You see, Baccarat is played according to pre-set rules and there is nothing much you can do when it comes to playing your hand. Once you place your bet the game begins with two hands being dealt on the table:

  • The banker`s hand
  • The player's hand

You can place a bet on either hand, and you don't have to bet on the player's hand only. There is another option when it comes to betting, a bet on a tie. This bet offers the highest payout but the thing here is that this bet will not win very often, so we suggest you stick to the other two bets.

The idea of the game is to get a hand that is closer to 9. The cards have slightly changed values here, Aces are valued at 1, cards from 2 through 9 have their face value and 10s and face cards are valued at 0.

If the two first cards you receive are of a total value of 8 or 9, this is natural baccarat and you are the winner of the round.

When this happens the round is over and whoever has this hand is the winner and receives a payout.

If you don’t have a natural win, the chances are you might need another card to win the hand. When your hand totals 6 or 7, you will stand, and if your hand totals between 0 and 5, you will receive one more card. Once you finish playing your hand it is the banker's turn to play.

This is where the rules get slightly more complicated though because the banker has to finish its hand depending on whether the player received a third card or not. If the player hasn’t received a third card the rules for the banker are the same, they will stand on a score of 6 or 7, and they will receive a third card on a score between 0 and 5. If the player draws a third card, these are the rules that the banker has to follow:

  • When the banker has a total of between 0 and 2, they will always draw a third card.
  • When the banker has a total of 3, they will draw a third card if the player`s third card is 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-9-0.
  • When the banker has a total of 4, they will draw a third card if the player`s third card is 2-3-4-5-6-7.
  • When the banker has a total of 5, they will draw a third card if the player`s third card is 4-5-6-7.
  • When the banker has a total of 6, they will draw a third card if the player`s third card is 6-7.
  • When the banker has a total of 7, they will always stand.

  • VIG Blackjack

In Blackjack, you compete against the house and not against other players. The idea of the game is to get a hand that totals closer to 21 than the dealer. At the beginning of the game, you will receive 2 cards face-up, while the dealer will have one card face-up and one card face-down.

When you see the value of your hand and the dealer`s up-card, you have to decide what your next move should be. There are many different options available that will help you improve your hand, of course, if you know what you are doing.

The cards have different values for the game. Cards from 2 through 10 have their face value, Aces are valued at 1 or 11, and face cards are valued at 10.

If the dealer`s up card is an Ace, then you are allowed to place a side bet called an Insurance bet. If someone places the Insurance bet, then the dealer will peak at their card and if they do have a blackjack then you will receive a payout for your side bet, but unfortunately, you will lose your initial bet. Other options available for the player are the following:

  • Stand – if you are happy with your cards, you can stand and not receive any additional cards.

  • Hit – if you need an additional card to improve your hand value you can hit and the dealer will deal an additional card to you. You can hit as many times as you believe it is necessary.

  • Double Down – if you have a favorable hand, one that totals 9, 10, or 11, you can choose to double down. To do this, you need to place another wager equal to your initial wager. For this, you will receive one more card.

  • Split – if the two cards you receive are of matching rank, then you can choose to split the hand and play it as two separate hands. For this, you will have to place another wager equal to your initial wager and you will play each hand separately. If either of your hands receives a second card of matching rank then you might be offered a chance to split again. Some casinos will restrict the option to double down when you split, so you should better check beforehand when you choose the variation you want to play. You have all the usual options to play with each of your hands. And in case you split Aces, you are allowed to receive a single additional card on each hand.

  • Surrender – some casinos will allow you to surrender, which means you will get half your bet back after you give up your hand. Surrender has to be your first and only action.

After you have finished playing your hand, it is the dealer`s turn. They will play their hand following strict rules. The first thing they will do is to reveal their card and if they have a hand that is less than 16 they will hit until they reach 17 or higher.

Live Roulette

Roulette is an action-packed game you can play at Casino Extra.

Roulette has been available since the 17th century and it is a game that stood the test of time. Today the game is popular in casinos worldwide and there is not a person who hasn`t heard about the game.

At first look, the game seems very simple where you place your chips on the table and hope that the ball will land on the number you put a bet on. Truth be told, roulette is a game that offers a level of depth for serious bettors and before you put all your chips on red or black, we suggest you go over the rules.

The first thing that you need to pay attention to is the equipment. Roulette is French for a 'little wheel', and there are 36 numbers and a single zero in European roulette, and 36 numbers and a single and double zero in American roulette. All the numbers on the wheel are colored red or black and the zeros are green.

Another important part of the game is the table, where you can see all the numbers and a couple of other options. This is where you can place your bets, and once you do, the dealer will throw the white ball onto the spinning wheel.

The next thing that you need to learn is the different bets you can place. Inside bets are the first group of bets, and these are bets on specific numbers and they offer higher payouts. The odds of winning these bets are slightly lower though.

  • Straight up is a bet on one number, and you can place as many straight-up bets as you want.
  • Split bet is a bet on two numbers.
  • Street bet is a bet on three numbers that are in a row on the table.
  • Corner bet is a bet on four numbers that form a square at the table.
  • Six lines is a bet on 6 numbers.
  • Five number bet is available only in American roulette and it includes the following numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3.

Outside bets, on the other hand, offer better chances of winning, but the payouts are way smaller. If you are a beginner, these are the bets you should stick to though.

  • Twelve numbers or a dozen bet is a bet on the first, second, or third dozen of numbers.
  • Column bet is a bet on 12 numbers in a row, the 1st 12 numbers, 2nd 12 numbers, and 3rd 12 numbers.
  • Low/High bet is a bet on the first 18 numbers, from 1 through 18, or on the second 18 numbers, from 19 through 36.
  • Red/Black bet is a bet that the ball will land on either a black or red pocket.
  • Odd or Even is a bet that the ball will land on either an odd or an even number.

Know the Odds

One very important thing to keep in mind when you play roulette is to know your odds. That way you will improve your chances of winning in the long run.

The American roulette wheel has an additional zero that increases the casino`s advantage even more. So, if you want to win more in the long run we suggest you stay away from this version of the game. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more challenging game then this is the one for you.

French roulette offers some rules that will drastically help you out. The "La Partage" and "En Prison" rules apply when the ball lands in the zero slot and they can bring half of your bet back.

Live Poker

Poker is one of the most exciting games you can find at Casino Extra. The opportunity of playing the game live will make your experience even more exciting. There are many different variations of the game and before you decide to play for real money you need to go over the rules first.

Texas Hold`em is a game that is played almost everywhere and it is also the game you can find if you join a tournament. The good thing is that once you learn the rules of Texas Hold`em you can play any variation of the game.

What you need to understand when it comes to poker is how the deal works, how the betting works, and the hand rankings.

Each player at the table will receive 2 hole cards for themselves, after which there is a round of betting. Three cards are added to the table, these are community cards and they can be used for each player. This action is called the flop and it is followed by another round of betting. Two board cards are added one at a time and they are both followed by a round of betting.

The next thing that you need to learn is poker hands. This is something you should learn by heart, and as you play you will get a feel of how to best combine the cards and make the best possible hand. Here are the poker hands from highest to lowest:

  • Royal Flush – a hand with A, K, Q, J, 10, all in the same suit.
  • Straight Flush – a hand with five cards in a sequence all in the same suit.
  • Four of a kind – a hand with four cards of the same rank.
  • Full House – a hand with three of a kind and a pair.
  • Flush – a hand with five cards of the same suit but not in sequence.
  • Straight – a hand with five cards in a sequence, not in the same suit.
  • Three of a kind – a hand with three cards of the same rank.
  • Two pairs – a hand with two different pairs.
  • Pair – a hand with two cards of the same rank.
  • High Card – when you haven’t made any of the above hands, the only card of value is the one with the highest value.
